The list is endless. The house is also close to supermarkets, banks, shopping centres, casino and multi screen cinemas. The old part of Funchal with it\\\'s fruit/veg and fish market is a 10 minutes drive. You can also walk into the center of Funchal (more or less 15 minutes) There are many pebble beaches to choose from around the island. Praia Formosa is the closet to the house and is approximately 5 minutes by car. Additionally there is the lido area which has sea water swimming pools and access to the sea. House Casa da Levada is a fusion between the traditional Portuguese style and the Modern XXI Century. It is a beautiful, comfortable, luxury residence surrounded by a large garden with panoramic views. Located in a secondary road in a privileged area without traffic, yet close to public transport, tennis, restaurants, shopping and easy access to the sea. The house offers complete privacy, spacious living areas, three excellent suites and a single room, all with en-suite bathrooms. A well lighted and equipped kitchen, separate laundry, storage and wine lodge. You have also Internet access The garden is south facing, spacious and well tended and has panoramic views to the Atlantic Ocean and Funchal. There are sunbeds, a dining table on the terrace with seating for 8 people and a smaller table for afternoon tea or a glass of wine. The Living Rooms are Spacious, elegant, comfortable and beautifully decorated with patio doors opening onto the terrace and garden. For cooler winter evenings there is a fireplace. The Kitchen is well equipped with oven, 5 ring hob, dishwasher, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, kettle, coffee maker, microwave. There is a big picture window to the side of the garden and a door with direct access to the laundry area and covered car port.
